Old Fitzgerald 17 Year bourbon whisky was introduced around 1800.

The man’s name is Edmund Fitzgerald started it in 1884 in Louisville.

People liked it because it tasted very good and was a smoother whisky.

However alcohol became illegal in the year 1920, and that time was very tough.

Some guy named Julian Van Winkle took over the brand.

After alcohol became a legan again in the year 1933, bourbon production was started again.

In the year of 1999, Heaven Hill Distillery, a big bourbon maker, bought Old Fitzgerald.
